The Sniper - 420mm f5
This is my rig for shooting racehorses, I can zoom right in and get a tight shot at a distance. This is a Lumix G1 with Takumar 210mm f4 lens (cropped censor doubles focal length and costs me an f-stop)

"Dancing with Mom"
"Dancing with Mom"- Another one shot with my little $50 Kodak C123 waterproof "just in case" camera! I think it turned out really well for a cheap point and shoot!

This one is a little grainy, shot in manual mode with a super cheap $50 Kodak Waterproof C123 point and shoot. I keep it in my pocket for "just in case"....well, my good camera had a battery problem so I pulled out the little back up and kept shooting. The little Kodak had shockingly handy manual controls...

"Bringin' the House Down" by NKW
Tim Farmer jams on the stage of the historic Kentucky Theatre in Lexington, KY. This was his first live guitar performance in 25 years (since losing the use of his right arm in a motorcycle accident) and he brought the house to it's feet, the place was rockin! This guy didn't just sort of pick and play, he absolutely blew the audience away jammin' at a Chuck Berry pace. Speechless, all I could do was stand there and smile from ear to ear, the kind of smile that you couldn't wipe of your face if there were a gun to your head. It was one of those rare times in life when you're so struck by something all you can do is let the emotion and energy flow through your Cheshire Cat sized smile. Tim truly brought the house down that night.

I watch crowds of people pass this man without even looking down to make sure he was breathing, I checked on him because I was afraid he was dead.

Not a Worry in the World...
Unedited, this was shot with a Lumix
G1 and a 50mm 1.4 lens... There is just a soft look and feel the old Takumar lenses provide, I can't get the same effect with a digital lens... Little baby Ella sleeps in her mother's arms at the end of a long day....
